Stonnington Youth Arts Initiative is a 6 week performing arts program for young people aged 13-18 years, starting on Wednesday the 27th of April.

This program includes weekly after school workshops, that incorporate theatre sports games, creative circus skills and analytical show development critiquing.

Play theatre sports games

Learn circus skills and physicality

Run around and pretend to be a duck (its all part of the process)

Have conversations with diverse young people about everything from the arts to mental health to the environment

Make friends

Create an act

Perform on a real-life stage under lights in front of an audience!

No prior experience needed! Just come with an open mind, ready to learn! Our program is FREE but spaces are limited so make sure you register early so you don't miss out!

You will be taught by a guest emerging circus company! At the same time, they are creating their own show. And they want your help!

PLUS, at the end of the program our participants will get to perform at Chapel Off Chapel!

This program is taught by ex-students of The National Institute of Circus Arts. It's a great way to upskill before applying to an arts further education program like NICA or VCA!
